Brand Photography Toronto: Je Ne Sais Quoi

Lindsay from Je Ne Sais Quoi is a brand and website designer. She was in the process of redoing her website when she reached out to me for brand photos. Inspired by her French business name and a deep understanding of her target clientele, we decided on a Parisian theme that highlighted all her brand values.

Lindsay’s target clients are 30-40 something women who are beginning a new chapter in their life. After dedicating years to their corporate career and raising children, they are ready to take their side hustle to the next level. They hang out in urban spaces, at home, and out and about in the city.

The Je Ne Sais Quoi is elevated yet accessible, so gorgeous locations were a must, but it was important Lindsay’s demeanour was still friendly and approachable. The brand words we embodied were: classic, charismatic, effective.

The most important element of her shoot was telling a story unique to her brand. The series of photos that captures her stopping by a flower shop on her way to work tells a story of finding beauty in your everyday routine and putting your best self forward. This is exactly what Lindsay helps her clients do.

Lindsay opted for the in all-inclusive package to ensure she had enough photos to stretch out over a long period of time. It also gave her multiple locations, two hours in studio, and hair & make up services by Ashley F.

The locations we chose around Queen Street East, Toronto gave the photos that old Hollywood, classic feel and Cluny Bistro in the Distillery District was the perfect fit for our Parisian theme. We wrapped things up at the beautifully furnished Lovt Studio.

Lindsay’s website is still under construction, but I can’t wait to see how she uses the photos!
