Rebecca & Jordan: a Fall Wedding in Orangeville

Rebecca and Jordan got married in a quaint, backyard venue on October 1st, 2020. Fall was certainly in the air, with pops of red, orange and yellow everywhere. This fall wedding in Orangeville was small, but extremely heartfelt and fun.

The ceremony area was decorated with an eclectic mix of chairs and autumn-themed flower arrangements. Guests started to trickle in as I scoped out a spot for the first look. Luckily, there were a few barns on site, so I found the perfect spot for Rebecca to sneak up on Jordan.

I found out while taking pictures of the couple that they often do cosplay and take pictures together – this explained why they were so at ease posing together! The fact that they were extremely easy-going and had some creative ideas of their own also made it easy.

After a ceremony of personalized vows and ring exchanges, we took some wedding party photos using the beautiful landscape we had around us. It almost rained on us multiple times, but gave up after a few drops (whew!). I have never met a group that was able to keep each other laughing so easily.

The day concluded at Bluebird Cafe and Grill, where all guests gathered for drinks and cake-cutting. This was my first wedding in Orangeville (where I live now, after moving from Toronto) and one I’ll never forget.
