The 10 Best Toronto Studios for Your Brand Shoot

Looking for a studio to shoot your brand photos? Look no further! In this blog post, we will list 10 of the best studios in Toronto. Studios can be used for a variety of purposes, such as product shots, headshots, and even video shoots. Each studio has its own unique set-up and atmosphere, so it’s important to choose the one that is right for your brand. Keep reading for our top 10 picks!
Mint Studios is our first pick for best Toronto studio. They have tons of rooms available for booking, all in different styles so it’s easy to find one that matches your brand. They have a kitchen set-up, library, lounge, ballroom, and more! They even do seasonal decor set-ups so you can get something totally unique for holidays like Christmas, Valentine’s days, etc.
Most studios require a minimum booking of two hours so this option is nice because they only require an hour. And they have so many different rooms in one building you could book at multiple if you plan on doing a longer shoot! The only downside is that you cannot rent equipment here so if you were looking for something specific, other studios might be a better option.
Lovt Studios is our second pick. There are two studio options under the ‘Lovt’ name and they are located in the heart of Liberty village in Toronto. These studios are side by side so it makes it easy to use both and we love the mix of high-end contemporary and classic vintage pieces. The natural light that comes through the 18 foot tall, factory windows is unbeatable! Again, you can’t rent equipment here, but your photographer should have everything you need!
Toronto Photo Studios is our third pick. We love a company that has lots of different options and styles, and Toronto Photo Studios is great for that! Although their studios are at different locations, their prices are so affordable you could use multiple in a day for a larger brand shoot. The owners are fantastic and are constantly sourcing new and trendy pieces for their rooms. They also have a small selection for equipment rental.
Studio 207 is our fourth pick. This is the studio you want to pick if you need a high-end lighting kit, video kit, or a coloured backdrop. The furniture and decor is limited, but this studio is ideal for product photography. It’s also one of the most affordable we found in Toronto.
That Toronto Studio is our fifth pick. This studio is best of both worlds because they have a furnished section and a plain white room + tons of coloured backdrops. It would be ideal for a brand looking to shoot lifestyle content and static product photography. They also have a robust collection of photo and video lights for rent.
Diptych is our sixth pick. If you’re looking for something that has a more industrial and edgy feel, then this studio will be one of your top choices! You can opt in for access to the whole building, which allows you to use different rooms and even the rooftop with an incredible view of the Toronto cityscape! It’s also very close to Queen Street West and graffiti alley if you want to take your shoot to the streets afterwards!
Vintage Light is our seventh pick. This studio is really unique, and if you’re looking for vintage vibes, then this is the best place to go! They have five different sets within one room so creating content with a lot of diversity is easy. They are also one of the only studio that includes flash and LED lighting with your booking (usually it comes at an extra cost!).
Amica Studio is our eighth pick. The furniture and lighting in this space are just incredible! It has East and South facing factory windows, a functional kitchen, and separated loft spaces. There are tons of different areas to get creative with your content!
Astrolab is our ninth pick. AstroLab Studios is Downtown Toronto’s only soundstage studio created specifically for short-form content production. Their rooms are sound-proof, which make them ideal for video content and they have one of the best selections for professional gear.
Neighbourhood Studios is our tenth pick. This studio offers two different studio spaces. One with natural light exposure and one with a private terrance – both black-out capable, which is great if you’re using their lighting gear. You can rent both at once, which is a nice option for getting as much diversity as possible in your photos. It also has tons of space for wardrobe, hair and make-up, etc.
