Her Brand Goals

The top priority for Masha’s rebrand was targeting a more elevated client. It was important that the designers or design firms were established with at least 5 years on the market. This meant that the colours and locations had to be professional and sophisticated.

With redoing her website, she required lots of different types of shots (horizontal, vertical, wide angle, close-up, etc.). Planning for all different types of applications meant her photos could be used for her website, podcast promotion, e-guides, etc. and provide a seamless brand experience.

I received Masha’s branding guidelines from her designer and this was a great place to start planning the shoot. 

We were deciding between two studios and the gorgeous Casa Bona studio came out on top. The upmarket furniture and stylish details were perfect for Masha’s clientele.

She brought along luxury design books, podcast equipment and outfits to match the space and relay a sophisticated yet stylish vibe.

The Results 

Masha received a large bank of on-brand images that she immediately starting posting to social media.

A couple months later, her website was complete! The warm and timeless quality of her photos give her website such a feeling. It’s clear from the very first that this is someone who is an expert in their industry and they serve a premium client.
